Street Fighter Salsa, anyone?

Love this video! Apparently it was from a salsa competition in Korea. I’d love to see the couple win.

Baso Tahu

Made baso tahu today for dinner and I have to write down the recipe here before I forget.

- 300gr minced meat (chicken, pork, etc)
- 200gr prawns, minced
- 3 stalks spring onion, minced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cube chicken block
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp tapioca starch
- pepper
- sesame oil, 1 tsp or 1 tbsp will do
- 2 big square tofu, cut diagonally into 8 triangles
- 1 cabbage
- wanton/siew may skin

This makes 8 pieces of tofu (obviously), and about 10 cabbage rolls and 12 siew may. Enough for 3 - 4 people with normal appetite.

I hate Monday Friday

I hate Friday and Friday hates me.

This morning, I checked my emails and nearly threw my laptop out of the window if not for the fact that a) the window can’t be opened, and b) I won’t get replacement laptop. It’s the same old story where some people don’t do their job and I have to clean up the mess *why me?*. Why don’t these people learn from their mistakes is beyond me. Perhaps they love to get the adrenaline rush from customer’s complaints and having to work until wee hour in the morning to get the things done.

Oh well, it’s officially weekend now and I’m going home.

No fun

It’s no fun getting blamed for someone else’s mistake but unfortunately that’s what I’ve been getting the past couple of weeks. Starting from users who did not do their job on time despite my almost-daily reminders to those who never replied emails despite many follow ups hence delaying the project, I’m getting all the blame. Heck! The job could be done within minutes but noooooooo, it took them 3 days and hundreds of email to do it. In the meantime, I had to suffer from the finger-pointing game. Whoopee!
