All dogs go to heaven
Toto, our beloved Japanese Spitz, died this morning.
I wasn’t the one who bought him as a puppy, nor was I the one who took care of him daily. Nevertheless, I had a good cry in my office toilet after receiving the news from dad. Probably that’s my hormones talking. I also have the feeling that he waited for my parents to return so he could say goodbye. Dad did say Toto was ‘hysterical’ when they reached home after spending more than a month in Sydney.
He was such a silly dog since the beginning. I remember meeting the fluffy furball for the first time in my sister’s dorm room some 11 or 12 years ago, and he was such an adorable little puppy. Despite my sister’s attempts to train him, he was notorious for peeing everywhere and barking at the poor old turtles when mom scolded him. In his adulthood, where most dogs calm down and act more mature, he still loved playing with balls and ropes which made even the vet surprised. I guess he was either playful in nature or intelligently challenged :)
Goodbye silly old dog! May you rest in peace. Say hi to Honey and Blackie if you meet them up there, will ya?
Thanks for the lovely eulogy, sis.. I cried the whole day (Miss Drama Queen!) and still lamenting that Freya will never get a good sniff from him
Gadis2 PU udah di kasih tau semua, Linda and Sharon could not believe it was 11 years ago Toto wee and poo on their carpet.
May 1997 - heard from my room:
Linda: Aaaawww… come here cutie cutie little puppy cutie cutie..

Linda: Aarrgghhh! Rianti! Anjing setan! Karpet gue dipipisin!
PS. I take all the blame for him being such a silly dog. I named him Subroto Stupido.
Aaaaah… masa siiiih gue segitu sadisnya  Tapi Toto stupido emang dah ngga ada matinya (walaupun udah gone yee). the only poo I ever cleaned is my Little Buddha’s and his (waktu doi poo di karpet gue!!)
